NeoCon 2017 CGI Renderings for Davis Furniture

Early summer in the contract furniture world means only one thing to most people: the annual NeoCon furniture show! Every year our longtime client Davis Furniture debuts a new collection of products. This year was definitely no exception.

NeoCon 2017 saw the release of a particularly long roster of new and exciting products from Davis. Among them was Q6, designed by Jonathan Prestwich. Q6 is a collection of benches and related products that are carefully designed to be combined into a huge variety of configurations. This flexibility means Q6 can be at home in almost any setting.

To show just how versatile Q6 can be, Hypothetical was asked to create a CGI animation to be shown at trade shows, online and in-person. We take you from a birds-eye view, into the details and back again to give a taste of how Q6’s flexibility.

With designs being finessed late into the spring, many products could not be obtained for photo shoots in time for the printing of their annual product book. Hypothetical was tasked with bringing these designs to life in realistic CGI rendered settings that speaks to the personality of the product and how it can be used.
