Immerse Yourself in Virtual Reality
VR is unrivaled in its ability to surprise, delight, awe and inspire
Virtual reality has emerged in recent years as one of the best ways to transport audiences into another world. It is hugely effective for education, entertainment, advertising and design presentation.
Most recently, we helped FRCH Design present their proposal for the Subway Restaurant brand redesign. Because the experience needed to be mobile and able to be shown simultaneously to a large audience, we decided to use pre-rendered stereoscopic images and Google Cardboard viewers. All of it was accessible from any phone with internet access which means no app downloads.
After FRCH’s winning bid, we kept the VR tour up to date with their latest design refinements for presentation to prospective franchisees and stakeholders.
Virtual reality is a primary platform for Hypothetical
Hypothetical has been experimenting with VR in both pre-rendered and realtime formats since the days of the first Oculus Rift prototypes.
Along the way we’ve learned a lot about how to make VR both engaging and comfortable.
Our first venture into this space was ambitious: a recreation of the Field Museum’s Stanley Field Hall with a little surprise next to the T. rex skeleton. A teleportation pad that transported you back to the Cretaceous Period. Since then we’ve produced a pre-rendered Cretaceous period with even better visual quality.
